“Daring and original…”-The New Republic
Big Sky’s favorite dance company, James Sewell Ballet, returns to WMPAC for a week-long residency while the group develops new work. The residency culminates in a collaborative public performance with the Ahn Trio, whom the LA Times has called “exacting and exciting musicians.” The Ahn Trio are three sisters who play piano, violin, and cello. They’ve toured in all fifty states and over thirty countries, and in 2011 were invited to perform at the White House for a state dinner honoring South Korea. They will perform on stage alongside the dancers for an innovative evening of movement and music.
