Step down the rabbit hole with MOMIX: Alice, the newest creation from visionary choreographer Moses Pendleton. Inspired by Lewis Carroll’s Alice in Wonderland, this fantastical production transforms the stage into a dreamscape where imagination knows no bounds. As Alice grows, shrinks, and grows again, Pendleton’s dancer-illusionists use ropes, props, and one another to bend the rules of reality in visually stunning ways.
Known internationally for presenting work of exceptional inventiveness and physical beauty, MOMIX is a company of dancer-illusionists under the direction of Pendleton, who founded the group in 1980. In addition to stage performances worldwide, MOMIX has also worked in film and television, including in advertisements for Hanes and Target. With performances on PBS’s “Dance in America” series, France’s Antenne II, and Italian RAI television, the company’s repertory has been broadcast to 55 countries.
