A night of stars, theater, and music.

Presented by Big Sky Community Theatre

November 17 & 18, 7pm

A man carries a notebook to keep track of all the things that could hurt him – including love and pretty girls. A woman returns to the scene of lost love, hoping it has waited for her. A couple moves clumsily from friendship to something more. With the Northern Lights twinkling over a small, cold town in the middle of nowhere, love is found, love is lost, and love is re-examined. Join us for a night of stars, theater and music as we present John Cariani’s Almost, Maine.

Welcome to Almost, Maine, a place that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States. It’s almost in Canada. And it’s not quite a town, because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it almost doesn’t exist. One cold, clear, winter night, as the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, the residents of Almost, Maine, find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend—almost—in this delightful midwinter night’s dream.

Starring Big Sky locals Mark and Marie Goode, Taylor Graham, Jeremy Blyth, Stephanie Kissell, Ashley Dodd, Michelle and Joe Borden, Vicky Nordahl, Jason Frounfelker, John Hannahs, Haley Van Heel, and Vanessa Wilson.

Presented through an arrangement with Dramatist’s Play Service, Inc. Big Sky Community Theatre is an Adult Education program at the Big Sky School District #72.
