An evening of entertainment with stars of film, television, music, comedy, and Broadway raising funds for five national organizations working to protect civil rights, human rights, and the environment. All proceeds from ticket sales go to support the Sierra Club Foundation, the National Association for Advancement of Colored People, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and the National Immigration Law Center.

Audra McDonald is unparalleled in the breadth and versatility of her artistry, as both a singer and an actress. The winner of a record-breaking six Tony Awards, two Grammy Awards, and an Emmy Award, she was named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2015 and received a 2015 National Medal of Arts – America’s highest honor for achievement in the arts – from President Barack Obama. Blessed with a luminous soprano and an incomparable gift for dramatic truth telling, she is as much at home on Broadway and opera stages as she is in roles on film and television. Vanessa Williams has conquered the musical charts, Broadway, music videos, television and motion pictures. She has sold millions of albums worldwide and she has achieved critical acclaim as an actress on stage, in film and on television. Her albums The Right Stuff, The Comfort Zone and The Sweetest Days earned multiple Grammy nominations and have yielded the Academy Award-winning single Colors of the Wind from Disney’s Pocahontas: The Musical Tradition Continues (1995). She has won or been nominated for numerous individual and ensemble awards, including the Emmy, SAG Award, Golden Globe and NAACP Image Awards. Jessie Mueller: Jessie Mueller is a Tony, Drama Desk and Grammy Award-winning artist who was last seen on Broadway in Sara Bareilles’ Waitress. Norm Lewis: As the first African American to play the role of the Phantom on Broadway, Lewis made history. But this role was a natural progression for the stage Tony-nominated veteran who has also starred on Broadway in Porgy and Bess, The Little Mermaid, Les Miserables, Chicago, Miss Saigon and many more. Abby Mueller: ABBY MUELLER is thrilled to be a part of Concerts for America! She recently concluded her run as Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole Musical on Broadway, after originating the role on the First National Tour. Seth Rudetsky is the afternoon host on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio’s On Broadway as well as the host of Seth Speaks on Sirius/XM Stars. As a pianist, Seth has played for more than a dozen Broadway shows including Ragtime, Les Miz and Phantom. He was the Artistic Producer/Music Director for the first five annual Actors Fund Fall Concerts including Dreamgirls with Audra MacDonald (recorded on Nonesuch Records) and Hair with Jennifer Hudson (recorded on Ghostlight Records, Grammy Nomination).
