An evening of entertainment with stars of film, television, music, comedy, and Broadway raising funds for five national organizations working to protect civil rights, human rights, and the environment. All proceeds from ticket sales go to support the Sierra Club Foundation, the National Association for Advancement of Colored People, the Southern Poverty Law Center, the National Coalition Against Domestic Violence, and the National Immigration Law Center.

Audra McDonald (THURSDAY ONLY) is unparalleled in the breadth and versatility of her artistry, as both a singer and an actress. The winner of a record-breaking six Tony Awards, two Grammy Awards, and an Emmy Award, she was named one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people of 2015 and received a 2015 National Medal of Arts – America’s highest honor for achievement in the arts – from President Barack Obama. Blessed with a luminous soprano and an incomparable gift for dramatic truth telling, she is as much at home on Broadway and opera stages as she is in roles on film and television. Vanessa Williams has conquered the musical charts, Broadway, music videos, television and motion pictures. She has sold millions of albums worldwide and she has achieved critical acclaim as an actress on stage, in film and on television. Her albums The Right Stuff, The Comfort Zone and The Sweetest Days earned multiple Grammy nominations and have yielded the Academy Award-winning single Colors of the Wind from Disney’s Pocahontas: The Musical Tradition Continues (1995). She has won or been nominated for numerous individual and ensemble awards, including the Emmy, SAG Award, Golden Globe and NAACP Image Awards. Jessie Mueller: Jessie Mueller is a Tony, Drama Desk and Grammy Award-winning artist who was last seen on Broadway in Sara Bareilles’ Waitress. Abby Mueller: ABBY MUELLER is thrilled to be a part of Concerts for America! She recently concluded her run as Carole King in Beautiful: The Carole Musical on Broadway, after originating the role on the First National Tour. Carrie Manolakos: Carrie has devoted her whole life to music. Post-college, she took Broadway by storm, starring in Mamma Mia as the lead Sophie before assuming the role of Elphaba on the second national tour of Wicked. She lent her voice to Lizzie for the Original Cast Recording of the rock opera based on Lizzie Borden. Along the way, she turned the likes of Alec Baldwin, Josh Groban, and Trey Anastasio into fans, joining the latter for Phish’s epic New Year’s Eve 2013 gig at Madison Square Garden singing ‘Tweezer Reprise.’ Academy® Award nominee Hugh Jackman sought her out to join him during his 2016 performance at the Metropolitan Opera. She performed the part of Éponine as he reprised the role of Jean Valjean from Les Misérables. Carrie also joined Emmy® Award winner Peter Dinklage for a Game of Thrones spoof penned by Coldplay’s Chris Martin. Seth Rudetsky is the afternoon host on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio’s On Broadway as well as the host of Seth Speaks on Sirius/XM Stars. As a pianist, Seth has played for more than a dozen Broadway shows including Ragtime, Les Miz and Phantom. He was the Artistic Producer/Music Director for the first five annual Actors Fund Fall Concerts including Dreamgirls with Audra MacDonald (recorded on Nonesuch Records) and Hair with Jennifer Hudson (recorded on Ghostlight Records, Grammy Nomination).
